Obi's tenure is coming to an end soon and for now he remains the strongest politician in APGA. There is a feeling that when he steps down, it may be hard for APGA to win another governorship election in the state given that the party is still having trouble with her members. Who will become the next governor of the state and which party will carry the day.

The next strongest opposition party in Anambra is the PDP and there seem to be getting more united than APGA in a race to collect the batton from Obi. Will PDP re-emerge after their many years of isolation from Awka?

This is going to be an election to watch as it is going to be the one of the first governorship elections before 2015. How will APGA, PDP and Anambra cope?

Uche Ekwunife, Chris Ngige, Ifeanyi Ubah, Nicholas Ukachukwu, Andy Uba and some others all want to be governor and they are well known names in Anambra. The state has a lot of billionaires but I don't know who will finally win the battle.
